The unit can be tuned to a wide variety of modifications. Adjustments are made via potentiometers on the face of the unit. Your fuel injected American V-Twin is equipped with an ECU (electronic control unit) that's programmed to deliver fuel to the motor based on an air/fuel ratio for a stock air filter and stock exhaust system. While the ECU can self-adjust for environmental factors such as temperature and altitude, it can't adjust for mechanical changes like adding performance parts. When you install a performance exhaust system, your airflow changes, so you need a fuel management system that adjusts your air/fuel ratio to match the changes. That fuel management system is Fuelpak. The perfect combination with your performance exhaust system.

Since its inception, the Hypercharger has continued to evolve to meet the needs of the performance minded rider.The interior shapes, especially the critical radius leading into the carb or throttle body, have been carefully designed. The outer cover incorporates an additional scoop to direct air into a high-flow, washable foam filter element that seats snuggly in the end of round K&N filter element. This filter assembly is one of the best flowing on the market and is capable of supplying enough air to even the highest output street motors. The frontal opening is huge and as with all Hyperchargers, the vacuum operated butterflies allow almost unrestricted airflow to the filter under high-load riding situations.

Do they really work? Normally, replacing a stock air cleaner with a Hypercharger will net you a 7-9 horsepower increase at the rear wheel, with no other modifications! Add a carb recalibration kit, a good performance exhaust system (not drag pipes) and a 12-14 horsepower increase is normal.
