Quick Release has a new meaning with this updated, easy-to-use key-lockable system. Just unlock the keyed lock, and remove the backrest and optional luggage rack together in one easy step, all in less than five seconds, with no tools!

 

The Paladin Quick Release Backrest consists of three components.  Securing the system to the bike are the mirror chrome mount plates with stainless steel latches (Not Included). An inboard lock position allows easy operation with saddlebags and the tucked away lock presents a clean outside appearance. With very few moving parts in the system, mounting is a breeze.  The tall Padded Backrest provides excellent support for the passenger, and a heavy gauge chromed steel Luggage Rack (Not included), is available for those looking for additional storage capacity. Combine all three easy to use components to go from an around-town cruiser to a long-distance touring bike and back again in just seconds.  For the ultimate in long-distance touring functionality, add a set of National Cycle’s CruiselinerTM saddlebags and one of our SwitchBlade® Quick Release windshields.
