Harley Davidson Softail Extreme 250 Wide Tyre Kit fits Softail Bikes 1991-2006 Harley Softail FXST models AND MOST AFTERMARKET CHOPPER SOFTAIL BASED KITS
This awesome swing arm kit is one of the easiest wide tire conversion kits for Softail. These kits bolt into stock Softail frames on 1991 to 2006 5 speed models and allow the installation of a 250 wide rear tire on a 8.50" wide wheel. These very complete kits include all parts needed to offset the primary and leave the engine and transmission in the stock position. Only the complete primary is mounted offset by means of an included engine to primary spacer, a spacer behind the alternator rotor and an offset drive pulley. The only "modification" that is to be made to the stock frame is cutting off the existing fender struts and replacing them with the included chrome billet aluminum ones. Kits include a black swingarm, chrome 3/4" (19.05mm) diameter rear axle, black axle covers, stainless steel splash guard, chrome belt guard, swingarm pivot bearings, raw steel rear fender, billet aluminum fender struts, billet aluminum primary spacers, offset drive pulley and stainless steel spacers for the compensator sprocket and clutch, all required hardware, gaskets and seals. Kits are designed for use with the stock final drive belt. Because of the very wide choice in wheel designs, the wheel and tire must be ordered separately.
Note: Use with a 18x8.5" rear wheel for 3/4" wheel axle such as PM wheels with hub code 1274F. Not suitable for ABS equipped models.Rear fender is supplied without holes FOR CUSTOM DRILLING TO YOUR SPECS
